Crispy Air Fryer Caesar Chicken Recipe – Easy Breaded Chicken
Air Fryer Caesar Chicken
I wanted to try this crispy air fryer chicken recipe because I like Caesar Salad and thought this would be a unique twist on breaded chicken. I also love the fact that this was Air Fried which made the chicken extra crispy and took less time than baking. The dredge for this didn't contain eggs, it was Caesar dressing and milk which is an interesting combination, right?
- Total prep time: 5–10 minutes
- Total cook time: 15 minutes
- Family friendly: Yes, all of the ingredients are family-friendly and my teen enjoyed this one
- Difficulty level: Easy/Intermediate
- Serving size: 3–4
- Serving suggestions: The crispy chicken pairs perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh green beans for a well-rounded meal
Inspired by AllRecipes, I’ll definitely make this again. We did not use seasoned croutons, swapped out seasoned breadcrumbs for Kellogg's corn flakes crumbs, removed lemon pepper seasoning mix, and cayenne pepper.
Feel free to customize seasonings with your own. Looking for something with some heat? Add some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes. In place of oregano you can also add thyme and rosemary to the breading.
