What Makes These Cheeseburger Sliders so Different
These aren't your typical cheeseburger sliders.
They offer such a unique flavor palette - the sweetness from the bun, cheesy and butter interior, the meat has a soft yet crunchy texture, and the Everything but the Bagel seasoning has a salty, nutty, and toasty flavor.
They are super fun to make, easy, perfect for busy weekdays with kids, or just a simple snack before dinner. You will be wanting seconds. And thirds.
What Inspired This Recipe
I actually found this one through XOXO Bella although it was sent to me from my sister. She sent me the recipe because she made it for my nieces birthday.
Customizations
Feel free to make this recipe your own. I cooked the top bun and bottom buns separately so we could customize them and add the toppings on after.
Here is how we customized ours:
✓ We did not use bacon
✓ We did not use salt
✓ We used shredded cheese in place of sliced cheese
✓ We did not use Colby Jack cheese

- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp butter
- *12 Hawaiian rolls, cut in half
- Shredded cheddar cheese (as much as needed)
- *Everything but the Bagel seasoning (to top)
Cheeseburger Big Mac-Style Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dill pickle juice
- *1 tsp monkfruit sweetener (sugar alternative)
- 2 tbsp dill pickles, chopped
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Additional Toppings
- Dill pickles
- Bacon
- Onions or onion rings
- Shredded lettuce
Note: I have the Cuisinart toaster oven so oven times may vary.
✓ Step #1: Make the ground beef mixture - In a large pan, add the beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground mustard and pepper. Cook until the meat is no longer pink, 5-7 minutes, stirring often.
✓ Step #2: Add Hawaiian rolls to a pan - Cut the rolls in half, lengthwise. Add the top buns to one half of the pan and the bottom buns to the other half. Add the ground beef and some cheddar cheese on top of the bottom buns.
✓ Step #3: Add Everything but the Bagel seasoning – Brush the top buns with melted butter and sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
✓ Step #4: Bake: In the toaster oven, set the oven to 375 degrees for 20 minutes - keep an eye on it as it can burn quickly. Remove from the oven once the buns are crispy and the cheese is melted.
How to Store and Reheat Leftovers
These taste best when eaten immediately but if you would like to store, store in an airtight container with just the meat and cheese, re-heat in the oven and then top with your favorite toppings.
