Creamy Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta Recipe

If you are looking for a delicious, hearty, filling, cheesy, and creamy meal, you will want to try this Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta. It contains ground beef which is cooked until browned, creamy alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and stringy cheese. I used healthier options such as whole wheat pasta, reduced fat cheese and I always buy 90/10 ground beef. This meal was fairly simple to make and the perfect meal for those busy weekdays!

Why You Will Love the Creamy Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta Recipe

This pasta is full of flavor. It combines browned ground beef with crispy bacon, soft and decadent pasta, creamy alfredo sauce, and ooey gooey cheese that will completely melt in your mouth.

Although this recipe isn't deemed as healthy, I used healthier options for those that are health conscious like myself. I used 90/10 ground beef, a no sugar added bacon (which you should be able to find at your local grocery store), whole grain pasta instead of regular, and reduced fat cheese. If you want to choose a healthier alfredo sauce, Primal Kitchen has no dairy sauces as well.

The Idea Behind This Recipe:

Kevin sent me this cheeseburger pasta recipe and it's from Easy Recipes by Cren on Facebook and since this week was much busier than usual (I got a flat tire, went to the grocery store several times, and had to take Jace to the doctor), I wanted to resort to a quick, easy, and family-friendly meal.

This creamy bacon cheeseburger alfredo pasta did the trick. Jace loves alfredo (loves, loves, loves) and, although this sounds like quite the combination, it was surprisingly really good.

Ingredients for Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta:

  • 1 pound 90/10 ground beef
  • 4 slices no sugar added bacon
  • *2 cups whole grain penne pasta
  • *1 cup alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
  • Onion powder, as needed
  • Note: For a creamier sauce, reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water and stir it in with the alfredo and cheese. If you prefer a thicker, richer texture, skip the pasta water and add an extra handful of cheddar. You can also swap whole grain pasta for chickpea or protein pasta to keep this dish lighter.

How to Make Creamy Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta:

Step #1: Cook the Ground Beef – Cook and brown ground beef in a skillet for 5–7 minutes. Add onion powder if you would like. Drain the grease.

Step #2: Cook the Pasta – While the ground beef is cooking, cook the pasta according to the package directions and drain (10–12 minutes for mine).

Step #3: Combine Pasta, Sauce & Cheese – Dump cooked pasta in the skillet and add the alfredo sauce and cheese.

Step #4: Cook the Bacon – Cook bacon on the stove for 8–10 minutes or until crispy.

Step #5: Top with Bacon – Cut the bacon into small pieces and top your skillet mixture with the crispy bacon.

Step #6: Mix and Serve – Give everything a good mix so the cheese melts into the sauce. Serve immediately!

Leftover Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave for 2 minutes or until warm.
