Inspiration Behind This Sweet Treat

The Nostalgia Behind This Snack

For some reason, this recipe reminds me of the marshmallow and fruit Jell-O recipe I used to eat when I was little. I don't know why - maybe because of the texture - but it tastes very similar. The apples remind me of the fruit while the toppings remind me of the marshmallows and light flavor on top.

Customize This Dessert To Your Liking

Feel free to make other adjustments such as replacing walnuts with almonds or adding a sugar-free topping like chocolate or strawberry syrup instead of caramel.
