Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs

Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs

After being sick for seven weeks with pneumonia (which actually ended up being GERD), I’ve had more time at home and have been cooking dinner for the family every night. One meal we all enjoyed was Air Fried Turkey Meatballs, inspired by Megane Woldsen on Instagram.

I adapted the recipe to create a healthier, family-friendly spaghetti & meatball dinner using ground turkey instead of ground beef. The Air Fryer gives them a crispy outside while keeping the inside tender.

These meatballs are versatile and can be served with spaghetti, made into kabobs, or placed in a sub sandwich. Ready in just 10 minutes, they’re a quick, healthy dinner everyone will love!

Why You Will Love These Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs

Any recipe that uses the Air Fryer is right up my alley. If you love crispy, tender meatballs without the additional oil and grease, this is the recipe you will want to make. It's simple, filling, flavorful, and a meal that the whole family will enjoy.

It's hard for me to find a ground turkey recipe that actually tastes good, so when I find a good recipe, like this one, I add it to my monthly dinner rotation.

Not only is this recipe better for you, but it tastes really good. If you want to opt for a healthier spaghetti and meatballs recipe, try this one! With a 10-minute cook time and 7 ingredients (most of which you probably have in your fridge and pantry), you can make this during those busy weekdays or when you aren't in the mood for a huge meal on the weekend.

How to Store and Reheat Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs

Store pasta and meatballs in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to five days. Reheat in the microwave for 2 minutes, or the Air Fryer for 2–5 minutes, flipping over as needed.

Adjust to Your Liking

  • Want to use ground beef instead of ground turkey? That’s totally fine! I lean toward a 93/7 or 90/10 ground beef for a healthier option.
  • Switch out breadcrumbs for cornflakes, rolled oats, crushed crackers, or PopCorners chips.
  • Want it spicier? Add crushed red pepper, Sriracha, or gochujang. You can also try my Easy Korean Turkey Meatballs for a flavorful twist.
