TikTok Ramen
TikTok Ramen
I did a poll on Instagram and the vote was "yes" for turning this TikTok Ramen into a blog. I'm not a huge fan of ramen noodles and never have been, but the spicy, sweet, and salty flavors combined together made this an extremely unique and fun meal.
Flavors consisted of soy sauce and garlic powder, everything but the bagel seasoning adding a hint of salt, crushed red peppers added spice, and an egg made it like a fried rice in a bowl. Jace rated his a 9/10. I initially rated mine a 7/10 and once I added an extra tablespoon of soy sauce, it bumped up to an 8/10.
• Difficulty Level: Easy
• Serving size: 2 servings (2 bowls)
• Total cook time: 15–20 minutes
• Family friendly: Yes! My teen loves ramen so this was a huge win for him
Why You Will Love This TikTok Ramen
If you like trying new recipes and trends, and if you like spicy ramen, you will most likely love this recipe. I don’t like my son having ramen often, but we both tried this for dinner and we will make it again. It was perfect for those busy weekdays.
What Makes This Recipe Different?
This isn't your typical ramen noodle meal. If you like ramen, elevated, you will want to try this. My son added the seasoning packet in his, but I didn’t in mine. I wanted mine to be as close to the original recipe as possible.
Inspiration
This recipe was inspired by Insanely Good Recipes. I used garlic powder instead of minced garlic, and we also used unsalted butter instead of regular butter.

How to Make TikTok Ramen (Step-by-Step)
✓ Step #1 Cook the noodles
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain most of the water but leave about 2 tablespoons in with the noodles.
✓ Step #2 Make the sauce
In a pan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add garlic powder and red pepper flakes and stir for 30–60 seconds. Add the brown sugar and soy sauce until the sugar dissolves.
Note: If you don't like spicy heat, reduce the red pepper flakes or add an extra tablespoon of soy sauce like I did.
✓ Step #3 Add noodles
Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the sauce and toss to coat. Move the noodles to one side, crack the egg into the pan, and scramble it. Once cooked, stir the egg into the noodles.
✓ Step #4 Serve
Serve in a bowl.
✓ Step #5 Add toppings
Top with green onions and Everything but the Bagel seasoning. Enjoy!
