No Bake Raspberry Protein Bites

No Bake Raspberry Protein Bites

Struggling with healthy snack ideas that keep you full? Me too! If you are looking for an energy-packed, no-bake protein bite, this is for you! I tend to snack all day (the joys of working from home) and most of the time, I overeat or I eat food that I shouldn't be eating.

These protein bites keep me on track with my health and also provide me with the protein I need so I can be fuller longer. They are great after a workout, during the afternoon, or even a late morning snack.

Reach for this whenever you need a pick-me-up throughout your day. I tend to eat 1-2 per day because they are so filling.

I purchased the freeze-dried raspberries on Amazon just for this recipe, and I’ve noticed Jace (my teen) will sneak them and eat them plain :) I also love the mini chocolate chips on top of yogurt or even by themselves—there are several uses for these ingredients as well.

Recipe Inspiration

I was looking for a recipe that would help me get my daily protein in as well as help me pre- and post-workout. I came across this recipe from CleanFoodCrush for no-bake raspberry protein bites.

Although very spot on with the original recipe, we used specific ingredients to adjust to our liking. The original recipe mentioned natural peanut or almond butter—we chose cashew butter because it’s sweet, lower in sugar, and richer in other nutrients compared to standard peanut butter.

We also used sugar-free maple syrup for the perfect amount of sweetness. It’s low calorie, gluten-free, and kosher. We skipped the optional almonds.

I don’t remember ever trying freeze-dried raspberries before (they’re a must now that I have!) and I already love all the other ingredients, so I gave it a try.
